Privacy Policy

Dipon ("we," "us") operates this website, a mobile app, and an SMS program that help people discover live local restaurant deals and help restaurants share those deals. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Waitlist email: if you join our launch waitlist on this site, the email address you enter. We use it only to email you once, when Dipon goes live in your area, and you can ask us to remove it anytime.
• Account info: if you create an account, your phone number or your Apple/Google Sign-In identifier.
• Location: with your permission, approximate device location — used only to show deals near you. You can turn it off in device settings.
• Usage: deals you save, redeem, confirm, or report, so we can show your savings and keep the feed accurate.
• Restaurant partners: business name, address, and a business phone number provided with consent during onboarding, plus the deals and dish photos sent to us.

How we use it

• To show fresh, nearby deals and personalize your feed.
• To verify deals and keep stale ones out (our core promise).
• To send service messages you've opted into (see SMS section).

SMS messaging

Restaurant partners who opt in receive recurring service messages from Dipon to confirm or update their deals. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe anytime, or HELP for help. We do not share opt-in consent or phone numbers with third parties for marketing.

Retention & security

We keep information only as long as needed to run the service and protect it with industry-standard measures. Deals and confirmations expire and are removed over time.

Your choices

Disable location, opt out of texts (reply STOP), or request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

Children

Dipon is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
